Job Description

The Chef de Partie (Pastry) supports the pastry section by preparing breads, cakes, desserts, chocolates and other baked products to hotel standards. Candidates are generally expected to have culinary training or relevant pastry experience, knowledge of baking techniques, food hygiene and kitchen safety. The role requires good organization, attention to detail, creativity and the ability to maintain consistent quality during busy service periods. The successful candidate should work well with the Pastry Chef and wider kitchen team, follow recipes and portion controls, manage ingredients responsibly, keep equipment and work areas clean, and remain flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
