Company Info

Le Méridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa is an upscale beachfront resort in Phang Nga, Thailand, operated under the Le Méridien brand of Marriott International. The property combines contemporary European-inspired design with local coastal influences and offers guest rooms, restaurants, bars, meeting facilities, pools and spa services. Its location provides access to Khao Lak’s beaches, national parks and nearby marine destinations such as the Similan and Surin Islands. As part of Marriott, the resort follows international hospitality standards and provides opportunities to work with guests from around the world. Team members typically work in a structured, service-focused environment with training, staff welfare programs and potential career mobility across Marriott properties, subject to local employment conditions and available benefits.

Destination Guide

Khao Lak is a relaxed coastal destination on Thailand’s Andaman side, although it is on the mainland rather than an island. Resort, restaurant, spa, housekeeping, diving and tour jobs are common, with additional opportunities in nearby Phuket and Krabi. The lifestyle is quieter and less expensive than Phuket, with beaches, seafood, markets, temples and easy access to national parks and island trips. Thai culture values politeness, respect for elders, modest dress at temples and friendly service. Foreign workers normally need a Thai employer to sponsor a Non-Immigrant B visa and obtain a work permit before starting employment; requirements can include qualifications, medical checks and documented employment. Confirm sponsorship, salary, accommodation, transport, service charge and insurance directly with the resort. Plan for tropical weather, limited public transport and basic Thai language learning.
