Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but Dubai offers a highly international lifestyle with strong opportunities in hotels, tourism, restaurants, retail, aviation, finance, technology, and construction. Arabic is the official language, while English is widely used at work and in daily life. The culture blends Gulf traditions with a large expatriate community; modest dress and respect for local customs are important, particularly during Ramadan. Dubai provides modern housing, excellent transport, beaches, shopping, dining, and year-round entertainment, though summer heat is intense and living costs can be high. For most overseas employees, the employer arranges an employment visa, residence permit, medical examination, Emirates ID, and usually health insurance. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, transport, meals, flights, and relocation support are included. Bring attested qualifications where required and ensure your passport has sufficient validity before travel.
