The Gardener maintains lawns, flowerbeds, trees, shrubs and landscaped areas across The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain. Typical requirements include practical gardening or landscaping experience, knowledge of irrigation, pruning, planting, fertilising and safe equipment use, along with the physical ability to work outdoors in hot and humid conditions. The candidate is expected to keep resort grounds attractive, clean and safe, follow horticultural and workplace safety procedures, respond to seasonal maintenance needs and work cooperatively with the engineering and housekeeping teams. Attention to detail, reliability, good personal presentation and a service-oriented attitude are important in a luxury hotel environment. Basic English is generally useful, while relevant vocational training is an advantage.
