Destination Guide

The Cayman Islands offer strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, restaurants, marine recreation, finance, construction, healthcare, and professional services. Caymanian culture combines Caribbean heritage with British influences and a diverse international community. Grand Cayman provides a comfortable lifestyle, excellent beaches, water sports, modern services, international dining, and generally safe communities, although accommodation and everyday expenses can be high. Foreign workers normally need a work permit sponsored by an approved employer before starting employment; the employer usually manages the application, and approval is subject to immigration rules and labor-market requirements. Candidates should confirm whether the package includes housing, airfare, health insurance, meals, or relocation assistance. Work permits are tied to the sponsoring role and employer, so changing jobs may require a new approval. Research accommodation, transportation, healthcare costs, and permit conditions carefully before accepting an offer.
