Job Description

The M&E Technician I supports the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, including air-conditioning, plumbing, lighting, power equipment, pumps, and general building services. Candidates are generally expected to have a certificate, diploma, or relevant technical training in electrical, mechanical, or building services engineering, along with practical maintenance experience. Knowledge of preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, workplace safety, and local technical standards is valuable. The role requires physical ability, reliability, a hands-on approach, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. The successful candidate should respond quickly to faults, complete maintenance records, follow Marriott and hotel safety procedures, communicate well with guests and colleagues, and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and fully operational property.
