Job Description

The Commis III (Pastry Kitchen) supports the pastry team with preparing ingredients, producing breads, cakes, desserts and other baked items according to recipes and hotel standards. Requirements typically include basic pastry or culinary training, food-safety awareness and a willingness to learn. Previous kitchen or bakery experience is helpful but entry-level candidates may be considered. The successful candidate should be reliable, physically fit, organised and able to work quickly in a hot, busy kitchen. Expectations include maintaining cleanliness, following hygiene procedures, handling equipment safely, minimising waste, supporting senior pastry chefs and working flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
