Destination Guide

Thailand offers hospitality opportunities across Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Pattaya, and other resort destinations, particularly in hotels, restaurants, tourism, wellness, and guest services. Bangkok provides the broadest career market and urban lifestyle, while the islands offer beaches, outdoor activities, a slower pace, and strong seasonal tourism. Thai culture values politeness, respect, hospitality, and appropriate dress, especially at work and religious sites. Living costs vary: Bangkok and popular islands can be expensive, while smaller towns are more affordable. Foreign nationals generally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit before legally working; requirements depend on nationality and position. Employers often assist with documentation. Candidates should verify contracts, salary, accommodation, insurance, and visa support, and budget for deposits, transport, and relocation costs before moving.
