Job Description

The Director of Rooms leads the hotel’s front office, housekeeping, guest services and related rooms operations. Candidates should have substantial experience in hotel rooms division management, preferably in an upscale or luxury property, along with strong knowledge of guest service standards, budgeting, forecasting, revenue coordination and operational procedures. Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to coach multicultural teams and work closely with other departments. The successful candidate is expected to maintain high service quality, improve guest satisfaction, manage departmental performance and costs, ensure compliance with Marriott and Westin standards, and respond confidently to operational challenges. A relevant hospitality qualification and familiarity with hotel systems are advantageous.
