Job Description

The Restaurant Captain supervises daily restaurant operations, leads servers during service, assigns sections, coordinates with the kitchen, handles guest requests, and helps maintain Marriott and EDITION service standards. Candidates should have previous experience in a quality hotel, restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment, strong communication skills, and a professional, guest-focused attitude. Japanese-language ability is highly valuable, while English or other languages may be required in an international hotel. The successful candidate is expected to coach team members, resolve service issues calmly, monitor cleanliness and presentation, support opening and closing procedures, and contribute to a refined dining experience. Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays is essential.
