Job Description

The Commis I - Pastry supports the pastry kitchen in preparing breads, desserts, cakes and other baked products according to Marriott standards. Requirements typically include basic pastry or culinary training, food-safety knowledge, good personal hygiene and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Previous experience in a hotel, bakery or professional kitchen is helpful, although entry-level candidates may be considered. The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintain clean and organized work areas, handle ingredients safely, support senior chefs, minimize waste and consistently deliver high-quality products. Shift work, weekends and public holidays are normally required.
