Company Info

The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert is a luxury desert resort operated by Marriott International under The Ritz-Carlton brand. Set within a protected desert landscape in Ras Al Khaimah, the resort combines private villas, nature experiences, wellness facilities, fine dining and personalised service. It appeals to leisure travellers, destination wedding groups, luxury tour operators and corporate clients seeking an exclusive retreat away from Dubai. Marriott International is one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, managing a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts across numerous brands and countries. Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers a varied lifestyle across coastal cities, desert resorts and mountain areas. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, events, finance, technology and construction provide significant job opportunities, especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a highly international population; modest dress and respect for local customs are important. Lifestyle options include beaches, shopping, restaurants, desert activities and year-round events, although summers are extremely hot. Most expatriates need employer-sponsored residence and work visas; employers commonly arrange medical testing, Emirates ID processing and permits after hiring. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, annual flights, schooling support and end-of-service benefits in the contract. Ras Al Khaimah is generally quieter and less expensive than Dubai, while still offering resorts, outdoor activities and access to major airports.
