Job Description

The Handyperson supports the hotel’s Engineering and Maintenance team by completing general repairs, preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities. Duties may include minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical assistance, furniture repairs and responding to maintenance requests. Candidates should have practical maintenance experience, sound problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety. Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience are beneficial. The role requires reliability, physical capability, good communication and the flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays. Hospitality or hotel maintenance experience is advantageous, along with the ability to work independently and provide friendly service to guests and colleagues.
