Job Description

The Compliance Monitoring Officer supports the Trust by checking that policies, procedures, services and operational activities meet legal, regulatory and internal requirements. The role typically involves planning monitoring reviews, gathering evidence, analysing findings, maintaining records, preparing reports and tracking corrective actions. Candidates are expected to have experience in compliance, audit, governance, quality or risk management, along with strong attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office and reporting systems. Good communication skills are essential, as the postholder will work with clinical and corporate teams, explain requirements clearly and follow up on outstanding actions. NHS or healthcare experience, knowledge of relevant regulations and the ability to manage competing deadlines would be advantageous.
