Headquartered at Changi Airport, the company operates an extensive passenger and cargo network linking Singapore with destinations across Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Southwest Pacific. It is recognised for its service quality, operational standards, modern fleet and strong emphasis on hospitality and innovation. The airline employs people across flight operations, engineering, airport services, customer experience, technology, commercial functions and corporate support. Singapore Airlines also operates alongside subsidiaries and affiliated businesses within the wider SIA Group. Employees can expect a structured, multicultural workplace, opportunities for professional development and exposure to a globally connected aviation business.
Singapore is a compact, highly connected island city-state with strong opportunities in aviation, finance, technology, healthcare, hospitality, logistics and professional services. English is widely used at work, while Mandarin, Malay and Tamil are also official languages. The culture combines efficient modern city life with diverse Asian traditions, excellent food and a generally safe environment. Public transport is reliable, although housing and daily expenses can be high, particularly in central areas. Employment Passes are commonly used by foreign professionals, while S Passes may apply to eligible mid-skilled workers; employers generally submit applications. New arrivals should arrange employment approval, accommodation, banking and healthcare coverage before moving. Changi Airport, extensive rail and bus networks, warm weather and a multicultural community make Singapore convenient for international employees and families.
