Job Description

The Account Executive will sell Gartner for Finance Leaders research and advisory services to mid-size enterprise clients across Australia. The role requires proven B2B sales experience, preferably selling subscriptions, professional services, technology, or executive-level solutions. Candidates should be confident engaging CFOs and senior finance leaders, managing complex sales cycles, developing account plans, and consistently achieving revenue targets. Strong business communication, negotiation, prospecting, presentation, and relationship-management skills are essential. Gartner expects a commercially driven, resilient, consultative professional who can understand client priorities, articulate business value, maintain accurate pipeline activity, and collaborate effectively with internal teams. Experience working with mid-market or enterprise customers and a demonstrated record of quota achievement would be advantageous.
