Malaysia offers opportunities in banking operations, shared services, technology, finance, manufacturing, tourism, and digital businesses. Penang, an island and mainland state, is known for international banks, electronics companies, healthcare, food, and a strong expatriate community. Its culture blends Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous influences, reflected in festivals, temples, mosques, cuisine, and heritage districts. Lifestyle is generally comfortable and affordable compared with major global financial centres, with beaches, cultural attractions, excellent food, and convenient urban services. Kuala Lumpur provides a broader corporate job market, while Langkawi and other islands are more tourism-oriented.
