Job Description

The Stock Control Clerk supports accurate inventory management by recording stock movements, checking quantities, investigating discrepancies and maintaining warehouse records. Typical requirements include good numeracy, attention to detail, basic computer skills and confidence using inventory or warehouse management systems. Previous experience in stock control, warehousing, logistics or administration is useful, while training may be provided. The successful candidate is expected to work accurately and safely, follow DHL procedures, meet operational deadlines and communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors and customers. Flexibility, reliability and the ability to work in a busy warehouse environment are also important. Manual handling duties, shift work and regular stock counts may be required.
