Job Description

The Assistant Financial Controller supports the Financial Controller with accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, reconciliations, accounts oversight, internal controls and compliance with Accor policies and Australian regulations. The role may also involve reviewing transactions, preparing management reports, assisting with audits and supporting departmental leaders with financial analysis. Candidates are expected to have accounting or finance qualifications, relevant hotel or commercial finance experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting systems, and excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with property-management or financial systems are advantageous. The successful candidate should be organised, discreet, commercially aware and able to meet deadlines while communicating confidently with colleagues across the hotel.
