Destination Guide

Qetaifan Island North is a developing leisure destination in Lusail, close to Doha, with hotels, restaurants, beaches, water attractions, and entertainment projects. Qatar offers hospitality opportunities for cooks, waiters, housekeeping staff, engineers, receptionists, and resort specialists, particularly during busy tourism and events seasons. The culture is welcoming but conservative: modest dress, respect for Islamic customs, and sensitivity during Ramadan are important. Life is modern, safe, and generally convenient, although summers are extremely hot. Most overseas employees receive an employer-sponsored work visa, medical processing, and a Qatar ID; contracts may also include accommodation, meals, transport, and return flights. Candidates should verify the written offer, benefits, probation terms, and recruitment fees before travelling. Lusail and Doha provide shopping, healthcare, public transport, and international communities, while accommodation may be shared and located away from the resort.
