Destination Guide

Australia offers strong hospitality opportunities in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, regional resorts and coastal destinations. Hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars and event venues regularly recruit attendants, chefs, housekeeping staff and supervisors, with greater demand during peak tourist seasons. Australian workplace culture is generally friendly, direct, team-oriented and focused on punctuality, safety and customer service. Sydney provides beaches, cultural events, outdoor activities and an international lifestyle, but housing and transport costs can be high. Common visa pathways include the Working Holiday visa for eligible young travellers, employer-sponsored visas for qualified workers, and student visas with work restrictions. Applicants should check current rules through the Australian Department of Home Affairs. Before relocating, arrange a tax file number, bank account, suitable accommodation and health insurance, and confirm whether RSA certification is required for serving alcohol.
