Job Description

The Kitchenhand supports the kitchen team by washing dishes, cleaning equipment and work areas, preparing basic ingredients, storing deliveries correctly and following food-safety and hygiene procedures. The role generally requires good physical fitness, reliability and the ability to work efficiently in a busy hotel kitchen. Previous kitchen, hospitality or commercial cleaning experience is helpful but may not be essential. Candidates should have a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, attention to cleanliness and a willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. A legal right to work in New Zealand and a commitment to safe work practices are expected.
