Job Description

The Bar Attendant prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, takes orders, operates the point-of-sale system, maintains bar presentation and follows responsible service standards. Candidates should have strong customer-service and communication skills, a positive and professional attitude, good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently during busy periods. Previous bar, restaurant or hotel experience is preferred, although training may be available. An Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is generally required, and applicants must be comfortable working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
