Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island country, but it offers coastal living, beaches, and island destinations such as Abu Dhabi’s Yas, Saadiyat, and Al Maryah areas. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, construction, healthcare, technology, and logistics provide many job opportunities, particularly in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; modest dress, respect for religion, and considerate public behavior are important. Lifestyle is modern and convenient, with excellent shopping, dining, transport, and outdoor activities, although summers are extremely hot. Most foreign employees need employer-sponsored residence and work visas; the company normally arranges medical checks, Emirates ID, and permits. Candidates should confirm accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, annual leave, flights, service charges, and contract terms before relocating. Living costs vary considerably, and shared staff accommodation can reduce expenses.
