Job Description

The Finance Officer supports the daily financial operations of Cooinda Lodge Kakadu, including accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, reporting, cash handling and month-end procedures. The role generally requires relevant accounting experience or qualifications, strong attention to detail, sound Excel and accounting-system skills, and the ability to work accurately with limited supervision. Experience in hospitality, payroll or remote operations is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to be organised, trustworthy, commercially aware and comfortable working collaboratively with operational departments. Because Cooinda is in a remote area, flexibility, practical problem-solving skills and a willingness to live and work in Kakadu National Park are important.
