Job Description

The Kitchen Hand supports chefs and the wider kitchen team by preparing basic ingredients, washing dishes, cleaning equipment, storing deliveries and maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene. Applicants should be reliable, physically fit and comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment. Previous kitchen, catering or food-service experience is helpful but may not be essential. The successful candidate is expected to follow food-safety procedures, work efficiently under pressure, communicate well with colleagues and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is generally required. The role may also involve lifting supplies, standing for extended periods and completing cleaning duties accurately.
