Job Description

The Demi Chef supports the culinary team with food preparation, cooking, plating and maintaining consistent quality across the hotel’s outlets. Requirements typically include commercial kitchen experience, sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, basic knife and cooking skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A relevant cookery qualification is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to follow recipes and instructions, maintain a clean and organised workstation, minimise food waste, assist with stock control, and cooperate professionally with chefs and service teams. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is essential.
