Job Description

Wait Staff are responsible for delivering friendly, efficient food and beverage service across the hotel’s restaurants, bars, events or room service operations. Requirements typically include previous hospitality or customer-service experience, good communication skills, professional presentation, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. An Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate may be required when serving alcohol. Candidates are expected to welcome guests warmly, take accurate orders, serve food and drinks correctly, maintain clean and attractive service areas, process payments and respond promptly to guest requests. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays is important, along with teamwork and a strong commitment to Sofitel’s service standards.
