Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees room attendants and public-area cleaning teams, ensuring guestrooms and facilities meet Shangri-La’s cleanliness and presentation standards. Typical requirements include previous hotel housekeeping experience, supervisory or team-lead experience, good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Familiarity with hotel operating procedures, quality inspections, inventory control, and basic computer systems is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to coach staff, allocate daily duties, inspect completed work, respond professionally to guest requests, report maintenance issues, manage supplies, and maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and guest service.
