Job Description

The Room Attendant maintains guest rooms and assigned areas to Shangri-La standards. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitising rooms, changing linen, replenishing amenities, reporting maintenance issues, respecting guest privacy, and following health, safety, and security procedures. Candidates should be attentive, physically fit, reliable, well-groomed, and comfortable working on their feet. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, although motivated applicants with strong service skills may be considered. The role requires teamwork, flexibility for shifts, weekends, and public holidays, and the ability to communicate politely with guests and colleagues. High standards of cleanliness, discretion, efficiency, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction are expected.
