Job Description

The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering professional massages, facials, body treatments and other wellness services in accordance with Shangri-La’s standards. Candidates are generally expected to hold a recognised massage or beauty therapy qualification, have relevant spa or hotel experience, and understand hygiene, safety and treatment procedures. Good communication, personal presentation and customer-service skills are important, as therapists must consult guests, recommend suitable treatments and maintain accurate records. The role also involves preparing treatment rooms, handling products and equipment, supporting retail sales and maintaining a calm, welcoming environment. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required. Knowledge of additional treatment techniques and relevant Malaysian language skills may be advantageous.
