Job Description

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, checking, storing and issuing food, beverages, equipment and other hotel supplies. Requirements typically include secondary education, previous warehouse or hotel-store experience, basic inventory-control knowledge and the ability to use stock records or inventory systems. The candidate should be physically fit, organised, honest and comfortable handling deliveries, lifting items and working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Attention to expiry dates, storage standards, cleanliness and accurate stock counts is essential. Good communication skills, teamwork, flexibility for shifts and familiarity with food-safety procedures are advantageous.
