Job Description

The Service Manager – Duty Manager oversees daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent guest service, smooth coordination between departments, and prompt resolution of complaints or operational issues. Candidates are generally expected to have supervisory experience in hotel front office or guest services, strong communication and leadership skills, sound operational judgment, and knowledge of hospitality standards. Fluency in English is important, while additional languages and experience with hotel systems are advantageous. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, along with a professional appearance, calm approach and strong commitment to Shangri-La’s service standards.
