Job Description

The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage supports the overall leadership of the hotel’s restaurants, bars, banquet operations and room service. Requirements typically include a diploma or degree in hospitality, several years of supervisory or managerial experience in a luxury hotel, strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, budgeting, cost control and local licensing standards. Excellent English communication, guest-service skills and commercial awareness are expected; additional language skills are advantageous. The successful candidate should be hands-on, well organised and capable of coaching multicultural teams, maintaining service standards, resolving guest concerns and helping increase revenue while controlling expenses. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential.
