Job Description

The Laundry/Uniform Supervisor oversees daily laundry, linen and uniform operations, ensuring items are collected, cleaned, repaired, stored and issued according to hotel standards. Candidates typically need several years of hotel laundry or housekeeping experience, with supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of washing processes, stain removal, garment care, inventory control, workplace safety and basic reporting is expected. The successful candidate should be organized, physically fit, detail-oriented and able to lead a team across busy shifts. Good communication, reliability, customer-service awareness and flexibility to work weekends, holidays and changing schedules are important. Experience in an international luxury hotel and familiarity with Shangri-La standards would be advantageous.
