Company Info

Shangri-La is a Hong Kong-founded luxury hospitality group known for its hotels, resorts and distinctive Asian-inspired service. Established in 1971, the company has developed an international portfolio across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America and other key destinations. Its brands serve luxury, business and leisure travellers, with operations covering accommodation, dining, meetings, events and wellness. Shangri-La places strong emphasis on genuine hospitality, personalised guest experiences and long-term customer relationships. A regional CRM position in Hong Kong may work with corporate, hotel and technology teams across multiple markets, supporting loyalty, digital engagement and customer journey improvements. The organisation offers exposure to a global hospitality environment, although workloads can be fast-paced and require coordination across cultures, time zones and business functions.

Destination Guide

Hong Kong is a compact international city and coastal territory rather than a single island, combining a dense urban centre with mountains, beaches and outlying islands. It offers opportunities in hospitality, finance, technology, retail, aviation, marketing and regional corporate functions. Cantonese is widely spoken, while English is common in business and professional settings. Life is energetic and convenient, with excellent public transport, diverse dining, shopping, hiking and easy access to nearby Asian destinations. Housing is expensive, so accommodation and commuting costs should be considered carefully. Overseas professionals normally need an employer-sponsored employment visa, usually under the General Employment Policy, with approval depending on qualifications, experience, salary and the role's value to the local market. Candidates should confirm sponsorship, medical cover, relocation assistance and tax arrangements with Shangri-La before accepting an offer.
