Job Description

The Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering conferences, meetings, weddings and special events for Shangri-La in Australia. Requirements typically include previous experience in hotel events, conference or catering management, strong organisational and communication skills, commercial awareness, and confidence managing budgets, suppliers and client relationships. The successful candidate is expected to develop event business, prepare proposals, coordinate operations across departments, oversee event delivery and ensure high guest satisfaction.
