Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and confidential information at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Typical requirements include relevant security or hospitality experience, good physical fitness, strong observation skills, sound judgment and the ability to respond calmly to emergencies. Candidates should communicate effectively in English and Cantonese; additional languages are advantageous. Duties may include patrols, access control, incident reporting, CCTV monitoring, emergency response and assisting guests. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit or the ability to obtain one is generally required. The role involves shift work, weekends and public holidays, with a professional, service-minded approach expected at all times.
