The Senior Technician - Carpenter is responsible for carrying out carpentry, joinery, repair and maintenance work throughout the hotel. Duties may include repairing furniture, doors, cabinets, wall finishes and guest-room fixtures, completing preventive maintenance, responding to work orders and supporting renovation projects. Candidates should have relevant trade training and several years of practical carpentry experience, preferably in a hotel, commercial building or facilities environment. Knowledge of woodworking tools, finishes, workplace safety and basic building maintenance is expected. The successful candidate should be reliable, detail-oriented, physically fit, service-minded and able to work independently or as part of a maintenance team. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and urgent call-outs may be required.
