Engineering Storekeeper

Job Description

The Engineering Storekeeper supports the hotel’s maintenance department by receiving, inspecting, labeling, storing, and issuing engineering tools, spare parts, equipment, and consumables. Candidates should have warehouse or inventory experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or engineering environment. Good knowledge of stock control, purchasing procedures, basic maintenance materials, and inventory systems is desirable. The role requires accurate record-keeping, physical fitness, attention to detail, and safe handling of tools and chemicals. The successful candidate is expected to maintain an organized store, monitor minimum stock levels, conduct regular counts, reduce wastage, and coordinate closely with engineers, purchasing, and finance. Reliability, honesty, teamwork, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays are important.
