Job Description

The Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating mechanical maintenance activities, supporting safe and reliable plant operations, planning inspections and repairs, managing contractors, and helping control maintenance costs and schedules. Candidates are generally expected to have mechanical trade qualifications or relevant engineering experience, sound knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance planning, and workplace health and safety requirements. Experience in steelmaking, heavy manufacturing, or similar process industries is highly valued. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, and leadership skills are required, along with the ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering, and contractors.
