Job Description

The Shift Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, leading shift teams, allocating work, monitoring output, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations. Requirements generally include relevant manufacturing or steel-industry experience, demonstrated team leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage production priorities in a fast-paced, shift-based environment. Candidates are expected to promote workplace safety, follow quality and environmental procedures, resolve operational issues, complete reporting, and support continuous improvement. The role may require a trade qualification, operational leadership experience, computer literacy, and availability for rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime.
