Its Global Wholesale Banking division serves corporations, financial institutions, governments and institutional investors through services such as lending, transaction banking, treasury, capital markets and advisory solutions. Destination Guide

Singapore is a compact, well-connected island and a major hub for banking, technology, logistics, consulting, healthcare and professional services. Opportunities are particularly strong for candidates with regional experience in finance, risk, data, compliance, sales, marketing and digital transformation. The culture is multicultural, efficient and generally respectful, with English widely used at work. Lifestyle options range from high-rise city living and international dining to parks, beaches and nearby islands; public transport is reliable, though housing and private schooling can be expensive. Foreign professionals usually need an employment pass sponsored by their employer, with eligibility depending on salary, qualifications, experience and government assessment. Senior banking roles often meet relevant salary thresholds, but approval is not automatic. New arrivals should budget carefully for rent, deposits, healthcare and daily expenses, and confirm tax, pass and relocation arrangements with OCBC before moving.
