Job Description

The Health Care Assistant supports nurses and wider clinical teams in delivering safe, compassionate care to patients. Typical duties include assisting with personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility, observations, comfort, documentation, infection prevention and maintaining a clean, safe care environment. Applicants should demonstrate kindness, reliability, respect, good communication and the ability to work effectively with patients, relatives and colleagues. The role requires emotional resilience, confidentiality, attention to detail and a willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays. Previous healthcare experience and relevant qualifications are helpful, but training and supervision may be provided.
