Job Description

The ICNARC Clerk supports the collection, checking and submission of intensive care data to the Intensive Care National Audit and Research Centre. Typical duties include reviewing clinical records, entering accurate information into databases, resolving data queries, maintaining confidentiality and communicating with clinical teams. Applicants are generally expected to have strong administrative and computer skills, excellent attention to detail, accurate data-entry ability and the confidence to work independently and meet deadlines. Knowledge of NHS systems, medical terminology, intensive care or audit processes is useful but may not be essential. The successful candidate should demonstrate reliability, discretion, teamwork and a willingness to learn clinical data requirements while following information-governance and quality standards.
