Job Description

The Registered Nurse – ICU role involves delivering safe, compassionate and evidence-based care to critically ill patients. Applicants should hold current NMC registration, have completed or be willing to undertake relevant intensive care training, and demonstrate sound clinical assessment, medication-management and infection-control skills. Experience in critical care is desirable, although suitable nurses may be supported through development programmes. The successful candidate must communicate effectively with patients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team, remain calm in emergencies, maintain accurate records and work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
