Network Planning Engineer

Job Description

The Network Planning Engineer is expected to design, analyse and optimise network infrastructure, ensuring reliable capacity, performance, resilience and future scalability. Typical responsibilities include preparing network plans, reviewing technical requirements, modelling demand, coordinating implementation teams, documenting designs and supporting service improvement. Candidates should have experience with network planning or engineering, telecommunications or enterprise infrastructure, and a sound understanding of routing, switching, transport technologies, capacity management and network design principles. Familiarity with tools such as GIS, network management platforms, automation technologies and cloud networking is valuable. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills are expected, together with the ability to work across customer, engineering and delivery teams. Relevant technical qualifications and industry certifications are advantageous.
