Job Description

The Business Development Manager is expected to drive business growth by identifying new corporate, leisure, event and partnership opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. Requirements generally include experience in hotel sales, business development or a related commercial role, strong knowledge of the local market, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and confidence using CRM and reporting systems. The successful candidate should be commercially minded, organised, proactive and comfortable representing Shangri-La professionally. The role may also require networking, sales presentations, market analysis, preparing proposals, coordinating with operational departments and occasional travel or attendance at industry events.
