Job Description

The Commis I – Indian Cuisine supports the Indian kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, plating, storage and general kitchen duties. Candidates should have basic culinary training or relevant kitchen experience, preferably in Indian cuisine, and a good understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices. The role requires stamina, discipline, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy hotel environment. The successful candidate is expected to follow recipes and chef instructions, maintain consistent quality, keep work areas clean, control food wastage and cooperate professionally with colleagues. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required.
