Candidates typically need a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, professional accounting qualifications or progress toward them, and several years of relevant hotel or corporate finance experience. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial systems, Excel and management reporting is expected. The successful candidate should be analytical, organised, ethical and commercially aware, with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead or support a finance team. Experience in luxury hospitality, budgeting and month-end closing, together with familiarity with Hong Kong regulations, would be advantageous.
